Lake Eyre by Air

This ultimate 2 day flying adventure has been created to experience the extraordinary natural phenomenon of water flowing into Lake Eyre.

Desert areas ravaged by dust storms are now lush and green, with patches of brilliant wild flowers. The vast flood plains around Lake Eyre have been turned into wetlands brimming with life and the birds have returned to breed.

Seldom do flooding rains reach Lake Eyre, but it has now happened two years in a row, triggering an explosion of life into the region.

Departing Adelaide aboard a luxury aircraft, the first leg of your flying safari, takes you to the Flinders Ranges. Here you’ll be greeted by your local guide and stay for one night at the acclaimed Angorichina Station.

The next day you’ll rise early and continue your flight over diverse outback landscapes to Lake Eyre.

Departures are available on request and price starts from $2,950 per person, based on 8 passengers travelling.
