*Touring Adelaide
There is nothing worse than having your plane delayed – especially when you’re in a big country, with little time and want to see as much as possible.
As Private Travel Executive, Olivia Kerr, regretfully informed her clients of their unavoidable 8 hour delay at Adelaide airport she could feel their disappointment; visions of secluded beaches and abundant wildlife morphing into a dismal airport lounge.
Determined to ensure their holiday was nothing less than a success, Olivia promptly organised a private car to meet her clients as soon as they arrived at Adelaide airport. The next 8 hours were spent touring the city. Their driver, a knowledgeable guide, took them through Chinatown and the leafy Eastern Suburbs, stopping at St Francis Xavier Cathedral and fashionable Hutt Street. They strolled through picturesque Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest German Settlement and enjoyed wine tasting and gastronomical delights at Bridgewater Mill.
While it might not have been their ideal or first choice destination, Adelaide was more than a pleasant surprise – so much, in fact, that Olivia is now organising a second trip for these clients, a tour of South Australia’s vineyards, Adelaide Hills included.
